Annotate are pleased to announce the release of 5.5 software. This new release updates the Chat functionality with the ability to discuss changes across both workspaces and documents. This feature can be accessed by clicking the large blue bar on the far left of the application.
“The addition of chat within Workspaces will give users the ability to talk to each other at the project or task level rather than at the more detailed document level. This was one of the features our customer have been asking for since we introduced chat at the document level”
There are also minor updates to notifications; the new notification design makes it easier to distinguish between different types of updates and it is possible to individually remove them.
We have also added a recent documents and recent updates panel available by accessing your main workspace discussion area; again, access this by clicking the large blue bar on the far left of the application.
